2024 EAA AirVenture
Royal Canadian Air Force, Italian Air Force, U.S. Air Force and Wisconsin National Guard participated
OSHKOSH — Over a half-million people attended the 2024 EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
This year’s event featured the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. “The Snowbirds are one of the world’s finest military aerobatic flight teams, so their presence at Oshkosh in 2024 is a wonderful addition to AirVenture week as we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force,” said Rick Larsen, EAA’s vice president of communities and member programs, who coordinates AirVenture features and attractions.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds surprised attendees on Thursday with a flyover while en route to Milwaukee. The Frecce Tricolori, the military aerobatic team representing the Italian Air Force, made it’s first Oshkosh appearance since 1986.
AirVenture took place between Monday, July 22th and Sunday, July 28th at Wittman Regional Airport.
